I just got serious, so I painted Ravi from VIXX, I keep thinking of who to draw next but I keep taking it easy, maybe I’ll draw something new soon.
One day I will have my love… and I will draw him too~♥
Drew him all today and this is the first time I have seriously taken on the task of drawing a guy, I don’t know why but I have always found them hard to draw. I also colored this in a new style… I have always seen similar and I loved the way they did it, but never tried it for myself.
Overall I think I am happy with how it came out, I wonder what I should name him lol~ ♥
Around this time it was close to graduation the intensity was building up as prom and many other activities came racing by. Everyone was trying their hardest in everything and sometimes slacking off, I know I was caught in the middle, slacking then rushing to finish on time.
Remembering back to the end of our Junior year, our teacher heard everyone complaining how Senior year is going to be hard and how the teachers get scary and meaner. She looked over at us and told us to stop fussing and said, “we are only the fuzzy, cute little bunny rabbits of the art schools”. We all looked in confusion as she started to tell us the story her friend and co-worker shared with her.
We, the students, were all little lion cubs in training, learning to fend for ourselves in the real world. Everyday we face the “little bunny rabbits” of the world, our teachers in high school, and try to overcome them so we can then move on to our next prey, “the wild boars”. Those wild boars were the teachers from art colleges where they supposedly had large tusks and were not afraid to use them!
I thought that story was so funny as I believed our teacher was not really a normal little bunny but one of those mythological critters known as a Jackalope. They had these horns and in old times were thought of as fearful. One of our projects senior year was to make a movie poster and as a Joke this is what came out.
My favorite project of all 4 years in high school.
This is were my love of illustrator came bursting out!
Now whenever I make anything I always start it out in illustrator first~
Continuing on the previous post, our next assignment consisted of creating our own soft drink. This was around the time I was heavily influenced by Korean culture and was constantly listening to Kpop~
Isn’t it fun? I have the original drawing floating around somewhere!
It’s my favorite and I thought the idea of a fizz sweet coffee soda would be an interesting new concept!
If only I could get a hold of someone who thinks the same! *hehe*
I really worked hard on this soft drink, so much so I changed my design over 5 times!! I wanted to get my teachers approval at least once in class, but she just didn’t see it as amazing as I did~
We also had to create a billboard ad that with in 10 seconds of someone driving past they could grasp the concept and want to try the drink out.
I’ll admit… This for some reason sounded like the hardest thing in the world for me! I could not, at all think of anything that could really bring out my drink and make it shine within 10 second!! I take my time to explain that’s the type of person I am!!
After so much deliberating and confusion i chose a bubbly theme and just plastered the name across the side and the “slogan” (if it could b called that) and called it a day.
This experience, to be honest really helped me because while I was holding down the fort and staging a war in my brain I realized the importance of a billboard ad! You don’t just want to be polite and attract with a pretty image, that won’t do much! You need to be aggressive enough to stand out from all the racing cars and angry honks and beeps from drivers all around. You want to bring a consumer in with 10 seconds of peace, entertainment or even a giggle or two! C:
This was my senior year at DASH~
There were many things I made but these seemed to be the ones that stuck out to me and although not many said anything on them I still hold them dear~♥
Creating a product design for a toy we created.
I opted for one of those really cool collectible toys that have become pretty popular lately, those that come part of a series that make people go crazy to collect them all ( I should know I love to collect things in a series, the sense of completion and having something as a ‘whole’ sounds cool to me!)
I thought up a design for these cool monkeys that fight crime! They remind me of the power rangers on a second glance! Just in monkey form!
I made one of the monkeys and painted him orange, that’s how I envisioned the completed version, but I made the box later and so This handsome Monki Knight you see here is Chester!
Sadly the completed box was destroyed on my way home from the rain so I can’t show the box set up but I thought it was pretty obvious~
It wasn’t the best box but I love Chester! C:
We were asked to make a dollar design for a universal currency.
Since the currency would be used through out the world I figured the best thing to put on the face of the dollar would be something we all see equally. Something everyone can observe when they please can understand even through the difference in languages.
A universe it’s self within a cloud of nebulae.
I went and added a page for my previous works!
Everything that came out good and survived harsh critiquing from teachers is there!
Soon I will add descriptions to each of them as well as the years they were made but right now I can say they are in chronological order the very first image you will see will be by most recent work completed!!
C: Worked on this all morning~ I must eat!! * o * ♥
